Singapore - Malaysia

We made it to Singapore and had a week of being tourists while also dealing with the authorities for the arrival of Roadee

   And included the Botanical Gardens
The trouble was the tow truck unhooked us in the middle of the causeway between Singapore and Malaysia – no mans land -  but what about the three lanes of traffic! Believe me that’s not my legs sticking out into the traffic while bolting up the drive shaft!

Finally some nice beach camps as we head up the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia

But the best part was the array of beautiful food available

The next day was a little calmer; filled with diesel at AUD0.58 litre. Should help to compensate for dearer fuel to come. Also washed salt remnants from Roadee although she was particularly clean. I think she could have been below deck which was a blessing

     Which included lamian dumplings

But our favorite in the food court next to our hotel was the noodle maker – an true artist in the making of noodles

How about the hotel in the background

Only kidding, I wasn’t really going to take it…

To the surprise of the lower management, the Director of ‘The Land & Traffic Authority’ gave in to our request to be towed from the port to the border crossing. (Singapore doesn’t want campers in town) but insisted that we be escorted by a security company. All in all – not worth it, we’ll take the tow
